Our story

The association, formerly known as IDACE, was founded 50 years ago and was originally based in Paris but moved to Brussels in 2010 to be closer to the European institutions and the EU decision-making proces.

The Secretariat has permanent staff in Brussels but being membership driven works with Working Groups and Task Forces around themes related to specialised nutrition. (For more information on our working groups, see “Structure & Organisation”).
