Specialised nutrition industry elects new president

Hamburg/ Brussels, 25 September 2023

On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Specialised Nutrition Europe (SNE)[1] held its well-attended General Assembly on 20/21 September in Hamburg, Germany. The members of SNE elected Marie-France Pagerey as the new SNE president[2]. “I am honoured to preside over SNE and I am committed to help take the association to the next level, building on the association’s recent successes and agreed strategy. I thank my predecessor Udo Herz for his unparalleled dedication and passion”, commented incoming SNE president Marie-France Pagerey. The outgoing SNE president Prof. Udo Herz added: “I am proud that SNE is in great shape, and I warmly congratulate my successor Marie-France Pagerey”. SNE secretary-general Beat Späth said: “The SNE team in Brussels is looking forward to working with our new president to further increase SNE’s visibility, credibility and impact, and we sincerely thank our outgoing president for six years which have grown and modernized our association”.

[1] SNE unites and represents the specialised nutrition industry across Europe to contribute to positive framework conditions for our products for people with specific nutritional needs. People with specific nutritional needs include infants and young children, people with medical conditions, disorders and diseases comprising inter alia coeliac disease, sports people and those managing their weight.
[2] Marie-France Pagerey works for Nestle and has been representing the Swiss SNE member association SANI at the SNE operational board since 2021.
